In this episode Sienna & Tamara give some history around AYA and share their personal histories in order to ground you in the way they see & move through society. 

Episode 2: Healing Justice

In this episode, Tamara and Sienna talk with Charlene Martinez who is the associate director of Student Experiences and Engagement at Oregon State University on healing justice and how to care for yourself and others while doing cultural organizing.

Episode 3: Native & Indigenous Activism

In this episode Sienna and guest host Meghan speak with Luhui Whitebear about Indigenous organizing and how to bring motherhood into activism. Luhui Whitebear is the assistant director for the Native American Long House Eena Haws at Oregon State University.

Episode 4: SOL: LGBTQ+ Multicultural Support Network

In this episode Sienna & Tamara talk with Destiny, the Communications Rep for SOL: LGBTQ+ Multicultural Support Network and the Pride Center. They engage in conversations around personal experiences of being QTPOC and navigating coming out at home as well as in PoC communities. Watch till the end for a sweet treat from Noughtie Dee.

In this episode, Tamara and Sienna interview Jinal Patel who is a queer Indian multi-medium artist who engages with Art as a way to express their identities and silliness. On this episode, Sienna talks with her two closest friends, Genesis and Jinal. They discuss healthy friendships, vulnerability, honesty, and love. This episode is definitely a tearjerker so get the tissues ready.

In this episode of Still, We Persist, Tamara and Sienna discuss self-love and how to manifest it in their own life. Self-love is a journey and a process and is different for each person. Tamara opens up about not knowing how to self-love and what her journey will look like in the future. Sienna talks about how it has taken a long time to get to where she is now and how you can do it too.

On this episode, Tamara and Sienna talk with Breonna and Sofia about multiraciality and how it effects them at OSU, in relationships, with family members, and with themselves.

In this episode, Sienna and Alex (AYA peer facilitator), interview Mixtli and Rosalie from the all womxn of color dance group, 3D. They talk about how they started, what they love about dance, and the empowerment of WOC dancing together.

Taylor Eena Hoe is a Two-Spirit Nonbinary drag artist. They combine their love of drag makeup and Indigeneity to explore the complexity of Two-Spirit identity. In this episode, Tamara and Sienna get to talk with Taylor about being an Indigenous queen and we get makeup tips!

In this episode, Tamara and Sienna talk with Sahana Prasad who is the Interpersonal Violence Services Coordinator at Counseling and Psychological Services at OSU. Prasad talks about racialized trauma, burnout, and tools to start healing.

In this episode Tamara sits down with Brandi Douglas to talk about Afro-Futurism and the ways we can bring pieces of it into our personal practice. Brandi also shares the experiences that brought her to Oregon State University and her personal practices for cultivating community.

Episode 14: WoC in STEM

In this episode, Sienna and Alex chat with Sneha Sinha who is a fourth-year Industrial Engineer with an option in Engineering Management. She is very active in the College of Engineering and has a blog called @engineerlikealady on Instagram! She is an intern at the Center for Diversity and Inclusion in the College of Engineering (COE), ambassador for the COE, and the president of the Engineering Student Council. Listen to this video-cast to learn more about WOC in STEM and how Sneha continues to persevere through it all.
